ATTACK BY NATIVES WOMEN USE KNIVES (Rocd. Sept. 33. ?, p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 30. News has been received from the acting Administrator of New Guinea of an attack by natives last Thursday on a patrol in the Rai coast area near Madang. .An assistant district officer, Mr. Nurton, and all members of the camp were wounded. Six of the attacking natives were killed and one woman was captured. Natives grabbed Ml". Nurton, while women attacked him with knives. Other men attacked Mr Nurton's native police with arrows.
