BRITISH OFFICER'S FEAT OVER NINE MILES UP (Rocd. Sept. 30, noon.) LONDON, Sept. 29. The Air Ministry announces that a Royal Air Force experimental high altitude aircraft, piloted toy SquadronLeader Svvayne, reached a lieight of 49,907 ft., beating the world record of 48,098 ft.
