TESTING OF TOTALISATOR
NEW TRENTHAM MACHINE PLANS FOR “MATINEE’ ’ (For Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. With the work of installation completed, the new Julius totalisator at Trentham was tested yesterday, and the result was wholly satisfactory. During the next fortnight the necessary adjustments to the issuers and the adding and calculating machinery will be made, and the totalisator will have a full test under race conditions at a special “matinee” meeting to be staged for members of the club on Saturday week.
