MARIST TENNIS CLUB
GOOD PROGRESS MADE ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Mm in Tennis Club was held last evening in the presence of a fair attendance of members. Mr, J. L. Brown was in I lie chair. The annual report and accounts were approved, general satisfaction being expressed as to the progress made during the past- season. The election of officers for the coming season resulted as follows :—Patron, Rev. Father McMahon; vice-patrons, Rev. Fathers Rodgers and Kairns ; president, Mr. T. F. Hogan: lion, vice-presidents, Messrs. L. Cooper, W. Krebs, G. Clirisp, NY. Hall, C. E. Brown. FJ. T. Brosnahan, 0. J. Alley, and T. Bailey: lion, secretary and treasurer. Mr. K. R. Kay; assistant secretary, Mr. M. Krebs; club captain, Mr. J. Parker; ladies club captain. Mrs. W. llall; lion, auditor, -Mr. B. H. Dodge; commit Lee, Mesdames Ilcency and Elliott, Mr. J. E. Brown. Rev. Father Rodgers, Messrs. I. Muir and J. 11. Hogan.
Subscriptions for I lie coming year were fixed as follows :—Men, £2 reducible by ss; ladies, £1 10s. rebate 5s ; juniors, under 18 on September 30, nu n £1 with rebate of 2s 6d. ami ladies lis 6d, with rebate of 2b 6d: schoolboys. 12s 6d; schoolgirls, 10s. The last day for rebate was fixed as November 30. ll was decided to hold the official opening day on Saturday, October 24. A working bee to assist in preparing ihe courts for play was arranged for Saturday. October Ifi.
