AUCKLAND, this day. A large number of Australian delegates to the Empire Chambers of Commerce congress arrived by the Awatea this morning. ■ The. party included Mr. George Groom, tlie president- of the- Federation o> Chambers of Commerce of Queensland, who is the first newspaperman to hold that post, and who is also pros id out 01 the chambers of far northern Queensland. Others of the party are Prolessor Torliev llytten, the bead of the economics department of the Hank of Now: South Wales, Sydney, and Mr. IT. M• Russell, M.L.A., of Brisbane.
