AMT unusual event in the dairying world has happened on. Mr. .T. G. Murray’s farm, Opoliki, where a cow has given birth to two calves with .an interval of a month between the two births. One of the calves was born about the middle of August, and the other about the middle of the. present month. A calf was born a. week after its twin on a. farm near Gratia. The mother is a Jersey heifer owned by Mr. J. Winter. Both are living. This is rare, as after such a lengthy interval the second calf is nearly always dead.
