MAN’S CLOTHES ALIGHT SEVERE BURNING (Per Press Association.) NELSON, last night. E. Lowans, married, with two children, was mixing paint at the Nelson Paint Company’s works this afternoon, when the turpentine exploded, setting lire to his clothes, which workmen extinguished with a chemical extinguisher. Barrels of turpentine burst, but the brigade confined the lire to a small corner in the works. Mr. Lowans was admitted to the- hospital, .suffering from severe burns on the arms and body'.
