ASLEEP IN CAR
INTOXICATED ENGINEER
MONTH'S GAOL IMPOSED

Pound asleep in a car in Feathc'rston street in the early hours of this morning, Humphrey James Coulter, aged 22, a murine engineer, was charged ill the Police Court later with being intoxicated while in charge of a vehicle and driving without a license. Accused pleaded guilty to both charges.
It 'was stated thai there were live bottles of beer and an empty pint whisky bottle in the back of the car. Accused hail been previously iined £8 and had his license cancelled for six months for being' intoxicated while in charge of a vehicle. On the charge of intoxication he was sentenced to one .month's gaol, and for driving without a license was fined £lO, iu default one month's imprisonment.
