THE NATIONAL PARTY "LIBERTY AND FKEEDOM" (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. "The new National Party is going to <ret a new leader of whom you will Tie proud," said Mr. X Hargest, M.P. for Awarua, addressing an open air meeting at Onehunga. "The National Party got a jolly good hiding at last elections," Mr. Hargest added, "hut it would rise up and fight again and, win or lose, would fight right to the end. The party stood for liberty and freedom. He did not know who the new leader would lie, hilt lie assured, his listeners that a good man would toe selected."
