CENTENARIAN HUSBANDS ONE SECURES A DIVORCE LONDON, Sept. 14. The subject, “How to be happy, though married,” has often been debated, but here are sidelights on “Howto bo happy, though married, at 100. ' A man, aged 100, and his wife, who is 101, appeared to-day in a Belgrade Court, asking “in all amity” for a divorce by mutual consent. The marriage bad lasted 75 years, but the husband asserted that only the first 30 were harmonious. Occasional disagreements marred tho next 45 years, and tho man’s main complaints were that his wife would not accompany Him on long country rambles, and also that- she read trashy novels. The wife denied that she bad been responsible for the disagreement, but admitted that she. was. disturbed by the prospect of starting life anew. The court agreed to the divorce, and the, couple left arm in arm. A picture of perfect domestic felicity is provided by George Sheet, aged 103, who claims'to be tho happiest mail.'in England. His second wife is 39 years of age, his eldest child is 69 and his youngest is two.

Interviewed at Burnham Market, a quiet Norfolk village, Skect said that lie was first married when lie was 25. Ilis first wife died when lie was 88, and lie was married again at. SO to a. handsome, smiling girl of 18, who was now the mother of Ilia youngest children, aged five and two.
