POVERTY BAY UNION CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL * In the final match of the Poverty Bay Rugby Union's senior championship competition Celtic will meet Old Boys on the Oval to-morrow afternoon. Last week’s was to have been the deciding game, but. on account of the drawn match both teams have still 25 championship points each. The union decided to allow the clubs to play off and in the event of another draw the honours are to be shared. Last Saturday the final whistle sounded with the points six-all. Each team is Jit for the game after a strenuous programme of training and the teams have been carrying ,on their practices regularly this week. The teams are as follow: Old Bovs. —Backs, Owen, Henderson, Read Daw. Dovi. Evans, Montgomery. Cooke; Slade, and Higgs; forwards, Fraser, Harrison, Srnelhe, Campbell, Fitzmauriee, Spence, Twigg, McConnell, Wliiteley, Palmer, field and Phillips. Celtic. —Backs, Yates, Tatty, C. Celtic players are to assemble at the Record Reign Hotel at 2 p.lll. to-morrow.
