SATURDAY'S PROGRAMME REFEREES V. FIREMEN In the curtain-raiser match between the Poverty Bay Referees Association's team and the Fire Brigade team, to be played on Saturday at the Oval, the "whistlers" will bo represented by the following:— Fullback, A. S. Muir; three-quarters, G. Mills, F. 0. Bennett, and A. H. Wright; five-eighths, A. E. Ingram and A. Worlhington; halfback, C. Somervell ; front row forwards, N. Tasker, L. R. Stichbury and W. McKeague; middle row, Rev. K. Hadfield, H. Heiford, R. W\ Cook and H. Hunter; back row, V. Norman. Reserves: A. H. Lange, E. Corbett and 0. R. Olsen.
A number of the above players are former Poverty Bay representatives, and the. team as a whole should give a good display of Rugby within the rules. The Fire Brigade team will be selected this evening at a special training assembly, and also will have as its nucleus a group of former representative players.
