FORTY-HOUR WEEK
P. AND T. APPRECIATION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Dominion executive of the P. and T. Association, now in session, has conveyed to the Prime Minister, the Kb. Hon. M. J. Savage, an expression of appreciation of members of the service for tho action of. the Government in applying the. principle of the 40-hour week to the department, which will ensure the employment of a, number of those at present unemployed.
