TWO BRITONS KILLED
AMBUSH BY ARABS STRIKE SETTLEMENT PLAN COMMITTEE PROPOSAL (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed Aug. 31, noon.) JERUSALEM, Aug. 29. Two British soldiers were killed and three wounded in an Arab ambush last night between Nablus and Nazareth. The Arab higher committee has agreed to accept the mediation of General Nuri Pasha, the Iraq Foreign Minister, and the committee is summoning a conference of district committees in order to have its action ratified.
Pending a decision on the matter, the strike will continue.
