GISBORNE PARK CLUB SEMI-FINAL CUP PLAY The wet weather on Saturday after noon did not favour members of the Gisborne Park Golf Olub, and few players completed their rounds. Four semi-finals were played, two for the De Costa Cup and two for the Chrisp Cup. The results of the cup play were as follow: De Costa Cup.—G. L. Winter heat G. P. Wilson, one up; K* R. Kay beat T. AV. Bayliss at the nineteenth. Chrisp Cup.—T. M. AVarner beat B. At. Terry ; B. IT. Dodge heat A. 1). Tarr. The only completed cards handed in in the match play were: P. A. Gavin, 64; J. A. Williams, 65; G. L. Winter, 68; L. Duncombe, 69; J. W. Reed, 72; and J. G. Bray, 76. The final of the North Island v. South Island fourball match was played during the week-end, Bray and Dryland representing the north and Steele and Harris the south. An even game resulted and the issue was in doubt'to the twentieth, when the South Island pair emerged the winners.
