RIOTING IN UKRAINE
THIRTY PEOPLE KILLED OBJECTION TO TAXES, (Reed. Aug. 29, 10.30 a.m.) RIGA, Aug. 28. Thirty people were killed and 100 were wounded, while 2500 were arrested as a result of riots in the Ukraine, due to increases in taxation and the-requisitioning of corn for the Soviet Armv.
