AUSTRALIAN RUGBY TEAM
EARLY GAMES OF TOUR REFEREES APPOINTED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Arrangements for the tour of the Australian Rugby team were made at a meeting of the management of the New Zealand Rugby Union last evening. The following referees were announced for the early games of the tour: v.Auckland} Mr. A. Thompson (Taranaki); v. Wanganui, Mr. J. G. C. Wales (Auckland); v. Hawke’s Bay, Mr. H. J. McKenzie (Wairarapa) ; v. Wairarapa-Bush, Mr. D. McK. Dickson (Christchurch).
Mr. H. Davis, of Auckland, was ap pointed as baggage man for the Australian team, and Mr. S. Murray, of Well ington, as baggage man for the New Zea land team.
