"With four matches only to be played before the first test match in Wellington on September 5, it is not surprising ? that the Australian Rugby _ tourists have selected what is possibly, the strongest team for the match 'with Auckland on Saturday. The team as announced to-day by the manager, Mr. Gordon Shaw, is as follows: Fullback: Storey. Three-quarters: Kelaher and McLean (wings), McLaughlin and Ilayes, captain (centres). Five-eight: Lewis. Halfback: Gibbons. Forwards: Curutti, Bonis, Walden, Ramsay, Kelly, Bridle, Hodgson, and Pauling. J The team left for Rotorua this mornr ing, and is expected back to-night.
