TOKOMARU BAY NEWS
GYMNASIUM CLUB (liera 1d Co rrosp o nil o n t.) A meeting was held in the Masonic Hall, Tokoinaru Bay, on Monday evening with a view to forming a gymnasium for girls, and was convened by Messrs. M. Alexander and 11. Mearns, who offered their services as honorary instructors. it was decided to hold classes one night each week in the Masonic Hall and the officers elected were:—Club captain, Miss Mary Savage; lion, secretary and treasurer, Miss Edith Thompson. The remainder of Ihe evening was spent practising exercises and tumbling and those who attended tho meeting showed much enthusiasm. Those present were Misses M. and M. Savage. E. Thompson, N. Nevin, S. Doig, G. Hautnpu, L. Forrester, J. McMahon, K. Unilever, XV. Oates, and I). Holali; Messrs. G, Mearns and M Alexander. .Miss Sanehiu Hunter, Mastnrton, is the guest of her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Nugent, Tokoinaru Lay, for the holidays.—Mr. S. Doig left on Wednesday morning to spend a few days in Napier.—Miss Joan Lomas, Tokomaiu Bay, is staying with Miss D. Holah at Ilaulanoa. —Mr. and Mrs. K. Miickny have returned after a short visit to Ngaloa.
