LENIENCY EXTENDED WIPE NOT HARMED COMMENT BY JUDGE (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. As his bigamy had harmed neither his real wife nor the second woman, and as the prisoner had 'been separated from his wife for seven years before going through another ceremony, Mr. Justice Northcroft to-day extended leniency to George Ensor, aged '>- years, who appeared for sentence on a bigamy charge. The prisoner was ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within 12 months.
