Reed. 1.15 p.m. RUGBY, June 15. Six questions have been set down for answer in the House of Commons bearing on the speech delivered last week by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, with reference to the League sanctions and asking' that the attitude that will be taken by the British Government at the meetings of the League of Nations towards the end of June should be defined.

.Most of the questions are addressed to the Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Baldwin. They ask'when an opportunity for a debate on the international situation will be given in the House of Cbramohs. Replying to-day to a large number of questions, all directed to obtain a defini tion of the Government's attitude, the Foreign Secretary, .Mr. Anthony Eden, said the Government desired an early ch bate. "On'that, occasion. 1, shall be prepared to state the views of His Majesty's Government as to the action which'is ti> be taken collectively at the meetings of the Council and the. Assembly of 'the League of Nations on June 26 and oO respectively." said Mr. Eden. The leader of the Labour Party, Major C. R. Attleo, then gave notice that the Labour Party would ask for a debate on Thursday, and later the Prime Minister intimated that- the Government would ac cept this request.
