J The annual report of the Youth Hostel Association of New Zealand, the headquarters of which are in Christ church, states that, although I* months ago the suggestion of a visit, of New Zealand trainpers to overseas hostels was greeted with ridicule, a party of :!0 trampoi'S! have now paid their shipping deposits and will sail . from Sydney in the J'ervis Bay next, i March. Tho secretary of tho-. English Youth Hostel Association has informed the New Zealand body that tho party will receive a warm welcome. He advised the party to break up into [small parties upon reaching England, because large ones arc difficult , to handle.
j It is hoped that Hampers of other nationalties will join the New Zealand group. The. traiupers will bo away j for six months, and the cost of the tour is estimated at, £15(1 each. They I will spend throe months in England, [commencing in tho spring.
