During Iho week-end the first of the station football matches was played at Wairongomai when the 'Mock Oysters” had an easy victory over the “Scorpions,” the final score being 23 to 8. At half-time the score was 14-nil. The Scorpions scored their eight points in quite a short time, but tho visitors proved too strong for them all tho way through Those who scored for the visitors’ were A. K. B.
