ALLEGATION OF MURDER

YOUNG MAN CHARGED BROTHER-IN-LAW KILLED (Reed. June 2, noon.) SYDNEY, June 2. _ Eric Williams Newlands, aged 20, was remanded when he appeared at the Moree Police Court on a charge of murdering his brother-in-law, William Alfred Duncombe. A message received from Sydney yesterday stated that when he was alleged to have refused to fight a duel with rifles at Boomi, near Mudgec, William Duncombe, aged 32 years, a farm worker, was shot through the chest and killed instantly, according to the police.
