UNITED COUNTIES ROADS REPORT ERO.\l INSPECTOR Reference lo the time given to the detection of "pirate'’ services on the inads of the united counties of the Past. Coast and Poverty Hay districts was made in the monthly report, presented to the Cool; County Council yesterday bv Mr. \V. 11. Scott, joint traffic inspector. The report was as under:—
‘‘No. 1 Section.—l have made three trips over this district, namely for the purpose of watching heavy traffic carting. and regulation of speed. "No. 2 Section.—One trip was made to Multi and Whatatutu. “No. 3 Section.—l visited this district between 'Cisborne and Te Araron and Waipiro with Mr. Cl. Mxton, and several inspections'were carried out.
"Pirate" Services.—A considerable amount of time has been given to these offenders, both on the Whatatutu and Mamituke routes, and the two leading offenders have been successfully prosecuted."
