EIGHT NUGGETS OF GOLD
Eight nuggets of gold weighing from lOdwt. to 21dwt. each are reported to have been won by Nevis Sluicing Claims, Limited, Otago, while cleaning! down a paddock preparatory to washing up for the season. In all, the eight nuggets weighed soz. 13d\vt. The company’s claim comprises 215 acres of alluvials at Schoolhouse Creek, in the lower Nevis area.
