A professional lightweight boxing contest between Kid Reekie (Australia), and Ginger Waide (N.Z.), went iinly two and a-half rounds, Reekie* knocking AA'nide out with a right hook to the head. Reekie had scored well with right hooks and jabs in the first two rounds. Hie bout was scheduled for 10 rounds.
