MR. R. B. MORRIS DEAD
FORMER P. AND T. HEAD (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The death occurred in Wellington of Mr. Richard' Brahazon Morris, formerly secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, aged 75 years. The late Mr. Morris served in the department for 48 years, during which time he occupied the post of chief postmaster at Christchurch and later was chief inspector for the department. He was appointed secretary to the department in 1920, and 1 retired on superannuation in 1952: The funeral took place yesterday.
