CAUGHT ON BRIDGE

MAN HIT BY ENGINE DEATH FROM INJURIES (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. As the result of being, knocked down by a train at Bunnythorpe just after dark last night, an elderly farm labourer, George Parr, aged 67 years, was taken to Palmerston North Hospital with serious injuries from which he died early this morning. He was on a small bridge when the train overtook him.
