DRAGGED BY HORSE
COAST MAORI INJURED A well-known Maori representative footballer on the East Coast, Charles Ferris, was thrown by his horse recently and dragged a considerable distance. He suffered severe injuries to his back and was found lying on the road a mile from Ruatoria. Mr. Ferris was picked up by a passing motorist and conveyed to his home at Jerusalem.
