LAST YEAR'S INCREASE LONDON, Feb. 1. The Postmaster-General announces a further substantial increase in the weight of letters sent by air from this country during 1935: the total weight dispatched during the year amounted to 187 tons, as compared with 122 tons in 1934—an increase of about 54 per cent. The total weight of air parcels dispatched abroad during 1935 was 79 tons, as compared with 74 tons in 1934 and 67 tons in 1933.
