MAKE-UP IN ENGLAND PERTH, April 8. There is a trend towards more natural-looking make-up in England, according to Miss J. Y. Buckleton., who with her mother, Lady Buckleton, is returning to New Zealand after 14 months in England. They arrived by the Themistoeles at Fremantle to-day.' Miss Buckleton, who has been studying health, hygiene and beauty culture in England and who has a beauty salon in Wellington, New Zealand, considers that Australian women make-up too heavily. "Beauty through health is the only lasting beauty," said Miss Buckleton. "It is not skin deep like that gained from the use of cosmetics."
