Shepherd, in a Fox Moth, was taking- off, Another machine, a Gipsy Moth, taxi-ing across the.. aerodrome, passed beneath and was struck by the wheels of Mr. Shepherd’s machine, causing the latter to somersault and crash from a height of 7ft. One wing of the Gipsy Moth Was ripped off.
