The genealogical columns in the Boston Transcript, which have been a regular feature since 1891, are being indexed as a works project in Brookline. Fifty stenographers and tiling clerks already are engaged in the undertaking. The immediate object, is to give work to a. “white collar” group in Brookline and nearby communities.
