SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS

NEW STATE CONTROL JOHANNESBURG TO CAPE (Reed. March 27, 2.45 p.m.) LONDON, March 20. The aeronautical correspondent of The Times says that After March 31, the liners of Imperial Airways will not be seen at Capetown, as South African Airways, which in a branch of the Government railways, is taking over all mails and passengers from Johannesburg. This is a prelude to the.reservation of all internal traffic to South African Airways, but when the Empire flying boat service is inaugurated in 1937, it will follow the coast between Mombassa and Durban, where the traffic will be handed over to South African Airways.
