SKINS OF IMPROVEMENT

SYDNEY, Feb. 20

Mrs. C. R. Pinney, wife of the Administrator and Chief Magistrate of Norfolk Island, Captain Pinney, said, on her arrival in Sydney by the Morinda yesterday, that conditions in the island generally were much brighter now than when she last, visited the island a year ago. Following some revival in trade, and the general reaction to economic, improvement, the inhabitants were happier, and viewed the future with confidence.
