The track was heavy following recent rains. Results were :- Trial Plate.—3 War Lap, 1; 2 Golden Chest, 2: 7 Golden Anne. 3. Scratched : Manulele. Won by four lengths, and one length. Time, 1.18 1-5. Sandon Highweight.—l Court Anna. 1; 2 Cold Cure, 2: 6 Spender. 3. Scratched: Lord Moutoa, Treasure Hunt. Chief Savage. Ekatere. and Lorelle. Won bv a head, and 1' lengths. Time. 2.1.
Ohakea Hack Handicap—2 Illias, 14 Solaria, 2; 1 Grateful, 3. Scratched: Detrop. Won bv a nose and two and a half lengths. 'Time, 1.18 1-5. Rangitikei Cup.—3 Round Score, 1; £ Entail, 2; 4 Lord Moutoa, 3. Scratched Knockout. Won by half a neck, and four lengths. Time, 2.15 3-5.
