Victoria, in its first innings, made 165 (Rigg 68 and Scaife 32). White, took three wickets for 25 runs and Hynes si.v for 25. New South Wales, in its second strike, lost none for 84 (Fallowfield 45 not out. and Mudgo 39 not- out).
