SNOW IN BRITAIN
SHARP FROST FOLLOWS

There wore heavy falls of snow in many parts of the British Isles yesterday and some snow fell in the London ' area this morning. However, following a sharp frost there was brilliant sunshine, and the indications point to its continuance.
