Wells, chairman oi the Auckland Education Board at a recent meeting of the board, when a communication was received from the Education Department, asking that the board furnish particulars of school accommodation "in order that the Minister may be assured that reasonable and satisfactory conditions will prevail in regard to the admission of five-year-old children at the beginning of the new school year."
