ABANDONING OF BABY
YOUNG WOMAN IN COURT FURTHER REMAND MADE (Pur Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Disappointment awaited many people who crowded into the Magistrate’s Court this morning hoping to hear the “Woolworths baby” case, for a further remand until January 14 was granted Delia Rnbbitt, of Centre Bush, Invercargill, described as a domestic, aged 26 years. She appeared on remand from Invercargill on a charge of abandoning Gor don Nathaniel Brown, a child under the ago of two years, on December 20. In remanding her till January 14, Mr. 11. A. Young, S.M., complied with her request that she should be allowed to stay in Mount Mngdala until the case proceeded. She was allowed £SO bail in her own recognisance.
