ALLEGED GAMING HOUSE
RAID BY POLICE SEVEN MEN CHARGED (Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. At full strength, the Blenheim police force, under Sergeant Smyth, surrounded and raided Priddles’ billiard saloon on Saturday afternoon. As the outcome, It. G. Warehnm was charged with keeping a common gaming house and It. G. White with assisting in its conduct, while A. L. Eden, J. W. Gilnrore, H. V. Bluiff, W. M. Merrigold and W. J. Edgecombe were charged with frequenting the premises. All the defendants were remanded on hail til! January 22.
