AMBITIOUS PLANS
WELLINGTON'S AIRPORT £128,000 TO BE SPENT (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A plan involving the expenditure of £128,000 for the development of ltoiigotai as an airport suitable for large commercial aircraft was tentatively approved by the Wellington City Council yesterday when the report of a special committee was brought down for examination by the council as a whole.
