Consequent upon the decision of the Government to revert to the Boyar Military College of Australia for training candidates for commissioned rank in the New Zealand. Permanent Forces, the Commonwealth Government, lias invited the New Zealand Government io appoint an officer of the New Zealand Forces ift the staff of the college. Effr this appointment Captain J. I. Brooke, at present adjutant of the Third Field Company, New Zealand' Engineers, f t Christchurch, has been selected. The appointment i» to bty for not less than two or more than three years.
