BARRY CUP FIXTURE TEAM FOR WAIROA The Poverty Bay representative Kugby fifteen to play \Valroa in Wairoa next Saturday iu the Harry Cup fixture uas been announced By the selector, MrU Thomas. It will" be noticed that several of the more proniineut players in the senior club competition have not icen included. This has been occasioned >y the number of players suffering from minor injuries') which are such that it .vould not be wise to play them in the '.earn.
The team will be as follows:--Full-back, J. Pohatu ; three-quarters, C. Ale.vinlev, T. Dovi, and M. Ross; live--ighths. S. Moeuu and 0. Sharp; half■nick. D. Swinburne; forwards, front ■ow, L. (Darky) McKinley, Mathiesou, uid Kiinber; middle row," A. McPhaii. vfeAuency. Steel, and Campbell : back row, Stevens ; reserves, backs, )'.. Wright and P. McKinley ; forwards, Hargneaves and E. O'Halloran. A practice will be held on the Childers road reserve at 7 p.m. on Thursday. JUNIOR BARRY CUP The junior representative team to play Wairoa on the Oval next Saturday in the junior Barry Cup game will be chosen by the selector, Mr. H. L. McNeill, from the following players after tho practice to be held on Thursday night:— Hacks. —Milligan, Turnbull. Young, Slarle, Henderson, Boag, Smiler, P. Hrisman, and Higgs. Forwards.- Cederwall, Davoren, Livingston, Thompson. Johnson. Stevens, ''vatt, Bayliss. Hoyle, Konrns, and SmoTlie.
