WOMAN’S BEQUESTS £OO,OOO ESTATE (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. last night. Specific bequests, totalling €I6(X). and provision for a substantial residue ol the estate of over 1160,€60 to be distributed among charitable or educational institutions, arc made in the will of the late Miss Elizabeth Smith, a Christchurch resident. After providing for pecuniary legacies amounting to €12.060 the following beguests are made: —Returned Soldiers Association, Chvistchueh, ,€500; Sanatorium Service Society, £300; Nurse Maude District Nursing Association, Christchurch, £300; St. Saviour’s Guild Socic-ty or Trust Board, €400; Salvation Army, Christchurch, €IOO. The residue of the estate is given to the Guardian Trust and Executors Company of New Zealand, Limited, as trustee upon perpetual trust, so that the income shall be distributed to such charitable or educational institutions or objects iu the Dominion as the company in its absolute discretion may determine.
