EWES WASHED OFF SHIP

In addition to the sheep in question, the Westmoreland carried a number of .others purchased on behalf of South American interests. News of the loss of the sheep was received by Dr. Tlobor’s agents in a message which staled: “Ten ewes washed overboard; rams safe." The consignment on the Westmoreland consisted of over 40 sheep housed in crates.
