OPPOSITION’S FUNDS (Received July 13, 2i pan.) WASHINGTON, July 12. Expenditure of more than £6O.CCO by the power industry in ail effort, to defeat the provision of the Utilities Bill for the mandatory abolition of unnecessary holding companies was described to the Senate Lobby Committee by Mr Philip H. Gadsden, chairman of the committee of public utility executives, which was formed last, winter to fight the measure.
