The Minister said the gift had been made as' a gesture in connection with the forthcoming! Jubilee of His Majesty the King. An appeal would shortly he made to the public to increase the contribution to the cost of the work in New Zealand of the Royal Cancer Research Society. The fund will he devoted to research work in the Dominion.
