"This man had a very hifih powered car capable of doing about 90 miles an hour and he did 65 to 70 within the borough. He crossed borough intersections at this speed and, in fact, committed four or five offences* all at once. I think he was out to give me a 'go,' but I was able to chase him and stop him." The above statement was made at the Hastings Magistrate's Court by the traffic-inspector, Mr. A. C. Crawford, when he charged Russell Chambers with, on March 11, driving a car in Karamu road at a speed dangerous to the puhlic Defendant did not appear and was fined £2, and costs 10s. i
